Web Sites Offer Sights To Behold, or Ignore

Local government Web sites have come a long way — some much further than others — since the days when calculators were the fanciest electronic devices available on the market.

Here's my review of the best, and worst, that the major public sites have to offer, starting with the top of the bunch:

1. Jupiter Island (www.townofjupiterisland.com)

This is a gorgeous site, with pretty pictures, nice colors, and all tastefully decorated. Then again, this is the richest town in America, and its moneyed residents can afford the best.

Tequesta Web Site Gets Remodeled
January 05' - The Jupiter/Tequesta Hometown News
Local internet surfers will be pleasantly surprised to discover an enhanced redesigned new tool on the Web: The Village of Tequesta's Website, which debuted last month...

"It's a really good system for keeping things fresh," Mr. Garlo said. "They've provided a great product, and I've been thrilled with the work they've done. I've had lots of compliments on the look."
